Northern California Cattle Ranch Wedding
They say rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck, and creates a “knot that is hard to untie.”
Welcome to the wedding that I will never forget; rain clouds on the horizon, twinkly lights on rolling hills, a veil of pearls on a beautiful bride and a dance party like no other. Under tents and candle light surrounded by rose petals and friends, took place one of the most intimate and romantic weddings I’ve been privileged to shoot. We spent the whole week praying the storm away, but as luck would have it this couple must be blessed, the rains came with western winds but so did the love, the toasts and the joy. Nestled on an autumn hillside in Millville, California, was Farrell Ranch’s first wedding. A fourth generation working cattle ranch in Northern California transformed itself into a magical haven to host their dear friends' most important day. Hayden and Elena’s day was a little drizzly but most importantly drenched in love. Weddings like this are some of my favorite, weddings that are, at their core, truly a celebration of love. This wedding sparked my western heart like no other and exceeded my wildest dreams. I am lucky to work in a field where love is such a tangible art form.
Sometimes I can’t believe days like this- that this is my life, capturing love through my lens, standing on acres of land in the heart of my home, Northern California.
